Having been connected with amateur sports clubs over the years (rugby in our case) we know how difficult fund raising can be. In the current economic climate that is unlikely to get any easier.

We wanted to find a way of harnessing the goodwill of those club members and supporters who do truly wish the club well but fall short of being prepared to actually "put their hand in their pocket" to any great extent. OneExtraClick provides them with a such vehicle.

All purchases made via the site generate some level of commission and the monies collected are shared with the participating clubs. All the clubs have to do to qualify for their share is to put a link on their website directing members to OneExtraClick - no cost to them - no hassle.

We believe that over time supporters can be "educated" to use OEC as their first port of call for anything they want to but over the internet. They will know that they are buying on at least as good terms as they would by going to the merchant direct yet at the same time they benefit their club or cause. For that to happen OEC has to continue to expand the range of goods and services available and the clubs have to remind members periodically of the financial benefits.
